As your Past Director I have continued to be very involved in the operation of the Region, and at the IEEE level.Ê This includes the following:

      operation of the Region
-ÊÊÊÊÊWorking on the upcoming SectionÕs Congress as Steering Committee 
      Chair
-ÊÊÊÊÊServing as Region 3 Nominations & Appointments Committee Chair (refer 
      to separate report).
-ÊÊÊÊ Serving as the Region 3 SPAC Coordinator
-ÊÊÊÊÊServing as a Region 3 Junior Director on the SouthCon Board
-ÊÊÊÊÊServing on the Board of Directors of IEEE-USA as Member-At-Large
-ÊÊÊÊÊServing on the IEEE Nominations & Appointments Committee
-ÊÊÊÊÊServing on the Regional Activities Board (RAB) Nominations & 
      Appointments Committee

SectionÕs Congress 2005 (SC05) is coming up shortly and I hope all of
the Region 3 Sections are planning to have a representative attend and
to help us provide funding for the Congress.ÊÊ Our Region has two
coordinators for SC05 and I would refer you to their reports for details
of the Sections that have provided funds for SC05.Ê Please work with
your Section to make sure they have a representative at SC05, and to
provide funds for SC05.
