Awards and Recognition Report

Region 3 members did very well in the IEEE-USA Awards this year. Of the
14 total awards, Region 3 members won 4 of these. They will be announced
and awarded at the upcoming IEEE-USA Awards ceremony.

Review of the nominees for the Region 3 Outstanding Engineer,
Outstanding Engineering Educator, and Outstanding Service Awards are
underway. The recommended winners will be available for executive review
at the Meeting in Atlanta.

A presentation summarizing the types of award programs available will be
covered at the meeting in Atlanta. There are many ways we can recognize
our members. I'll try to net this out for everyone so we can take
advantage of as many as possible.
