Status:
This is a rebuilding year for the Jacksonville Section.  Our two chapters 
are going to try to establish a fixed schedule for technical meetings for 
the rest of the year.  We are seeking a new PES/IAS chair.  We are also 
planning section socials for August and December.  These have generally been 
very successful.


Meetings:

Oct 28, 2005 - Section Excom meeting, 6 attending.

Nov 16, 2005 - Section Excom meeting, 5 attending.

Nov 16, 2005 - Computer Society technical meeting - Butch Shadwell presented 
a talk on his Machine Vision Research at Carnegie Mellon.  It was very well 
received and the attendance was approximately 25.

Dec 13, 2005 - Section Excom meeting, 5 attending.

Dec 13, 2005 - PES/IAS technical meeting -  Sally Industries Plant tour. 
Sally is one of a very small number of companies in the world that produces 
animated robotic characters for theme parks. 15 attending

Mar 21, 2006 - Jacksonville Section Excom meeting, 4 attending.
