Strategic Planning Committee (SPC) Report for
March 2006 ExCom Meeting


1.  The SPC will meet on Friday 3/31 at 8:30 PM in Salon G at SoutheastCon 
2006 in Memphis.

We will be discussing several important items which may impact our Region 3 
Strategic Plan, Bylaws, and Operations Manual.  We have postponed making any 
formal changes to these documents until we have a clear understanding of 
purpose of the proposed change and its impact on our and other Governance 
documents.
The latest approved version of the Region 3 Strategic Plan, Bylaws, and 
Operations Manual are accessible from the SPC website at

3.   SPC Mentors assigned for 2006 are posted on the web at

I encourage the Region 3 Committee Chairs to involve the assigned mentor as 
a part of your committee and to take advantage of this resource in the 
operation of your committee.

4.  The SPC 2005 Goals & Objectives are posted on the web at

    G&Os for 2006 will be developed and posted following our SoutheastCon 
2006 meeting in Memphis.
