In addition to serving on the Region 3 Strategic Planning Committee, I
chair the Region 3 Nominations and Appointments Committee. There are no
new nominations or appointments under consideration at this time.

I also serve on the IEEE USA Nominations and Appointments Committee. We
have met several times via telephone conference/emails. We will be
meeting on August 22nd to narrow the list of IEEE-USA slate of
candidates.
