The Southcon Board of Directors met Sunday, August 27, 2006 to review
the status of Southcon. At that time, after very careful consideration
and debate, it decided to not hold a 2007 show and conference in
Orlando.

The Board will be meeting to evaluate the situation for 2008 and beyond.
Booth sales and attendance have been declining each year. As a matter of
information, the 2006 show cost more to produce than the revenue
received. We feel that the present setup has not been conducive to
attendance and vendor results. Comments are welcome off line.
