The southeastCon 2007 Committee has accomplished the following:

   Web site is up and running.
   
   Conference and hotel registration is available on the Web.
   
   Call for Papers is going out for the second time.
   
   Technical Program Committee is staffed.
   
   Rules for hardware competition will be published September 1, 2006.
   The final draft is being circulated for comments.
   
   Contributors' and exhibitors' prospectors are finalized and being
   sent to prospective contributors and exhibitors (See the Web page)
   
   The marketing subcommittee is working on the conference marketing
   plan.
   
   Audio visual equipment list is defined and we are soliciting
   resources for limited equipment loan.
   
   Keynote speakers are identified and invitations have been sent.
   
   Coordinating with the Jamestown Foundation for use of the Jamestown
   400th anniversary logo.
