2006 has been a successful year for the Winston-Salem Section.  At this
time, we have held 7 regular meetings (extremely interesting speakers) with
2 more planned for the year and we have had 3 Executive Committee meetings.

This year we have been making efforts to retain/regain membership, organize
a student section, and organize an EMBS subchapter.

Going forward into 2007, we are considering becoming involved in the TISP
program with the Central NC section and assisting with the organization and
execution of an IEEE sponsored international meeting at Wake Forest
University.
