Flat World Initiative Report to 12/11 R3 ExCom Meeting

1. The latest update of the Flat World initiative webpage is at

2. A write-up missed the Fall R3 Newsletter by a misunderstanding.   

3. Interest in the Flat World Initiative has been expressed in Atlanta
   for Engineers' Week 2007.


4. The IEEE International Microwave Symposium will be held in Atlanta
   in 2008.  We are discussing with MTT-S how the Flat World Initiative
   may be included in the symposium planning.

5. References to pertinent articles in the press are still being added
   to the Flat World webpage. (See item 1.)  

6. Your feedback and suggestions are solicited and always appreciated.

7. A year-end report summarizing initiative results and recommendations
   will be submitted by year end.
