SPAC Coordinators Report
 
Region 3 is continuing to have schools schedule and complete Student
Professional Awareness Conferences (S-PAC’s).

Thus far we have had six schools complete S-PAC’s for 2006.  These are:
 
University of South Florida  --  February 20, 2006
Virginia Tech – March 24, 2006
University of Central Florida – October 13, 2006  (Combined S-PAC/MPAC)
            University of Jamaica – October 20, 2006
            University of Kentucky – November 6, 2006
            University of South Florida – November 30, 2006
 
Schools that have SPAC planned for 2007 include:
            Virginia Tech – January 26, 2007
University of South Florida – Spring 2007
            Georgia Tech – Spring 2007
            Florida International University – Spring 2007
 
As mentioned, during 2006 Region 3 had 6 schools complete SPAC’s. This
compares to 7 schools completing SPAC’s in 2005. We had set a goal for
2006 at 10 Region 3 SPAC’s, so you can see we missed the goal by only 4
SPAC’s. For 2007 we will again set the goal for 10 Region 3 SPAC’s, so
please start working with the Student Branch near you to help them
prepare for and schedule an SPAC in 2007.
