Region 3 Awards & Recognition Status Report

At the recent IEEE-USA Awards Banquet, 4 of the 11 Awards given were to
Region 3 members or were initiated by Region 3 members.  There are 6
regions in the US and we participated in 36% of the Awards.  When our
members make nominations, we tend to do very well, but we need that
nomination material to succeed.

The deadline for IEEE-USA Award nominations for 2007 has passed.

October 15th is the deadline for submitting RAB Awards.

December 1st is the deadline for submitting Region 3 Awards.

Everyone is encouraged to identify a colleague who may be deserving of
an award.  It is okay to ask that person to do the writing!  They will
be honored that you thought of them and it makes your life as a
nominator easier.  Let's each try this and see if we can get the
submissions up.
