July 24 - Renewable Generation Resources in Florida - The Florida Energy Commission We have been holding our
meeting at the local Piccadilly restaurant, with some good success. The section subsidizes the meal cost for
members. The venue has worked our very well so far. Dave McCue (PES/IAS Chair) and Bob Schrage (PES/IAS
Vice-Chair) have been doing a fantastic job of rejuvenating interest in our membership. Two outstanding
engineers and IEEE volunteers.

We hold excom meeting before each technical session, and we are having student branch meetings as least once
a week. The current student branch chair Ramon Colon, has been a powerhouse and has started three new student
chapters at UNF.
