On 17 September 2007, notification was sent to the R3 ExCom and R3 Committee 
informing them that:

(1). The R3 ExCom will be requested to endorse this revision at their 24 
September 2007 meeting and

(2). The R3 Committee will be requested to approve this revision at their 29 
October 2007 meeting in Birmingham.

Subject to the endorsement and approval, this revision will replace the 
existing manual on the R3 web site.
 
Note: The R3 Bylaws state that items requiring approval by the R3 Committee (Section Chairs)
must be sent to them at least 30 days in advance of the Region 3 Committee meeting at which
such amendments will be considered.
