Many volunteers will be   participating in manning an IEEE exhibit table and discuss engineering   with teachers. The goal is to IEEE a resource for teachers as they plan   their lessons as well as hands on gadgets in the class rooms.   Russ Harrison, IEEE-USA staff member, will be speaking about government   activities, at the Hampton Roads Section Professional Activities program   in February 21, 2008, in conjunction with Engineers Week. This is a great start for 2008 in professional activities. I encourage all sections to include professional activities in planning their section meeting programs or special seminars.
