Help Wanted

We need help in three areas:

1. - Nominations and Appointments - it's not too early to indicate
interest in a Region 3 office that you may be willing to occupy in the
future, up to and including director-elect. Please send any inquiries,
and/or requests for further information to g.mcclure @ ieee.org.

2. Liaisons to IEEE-USA Government Relations Committees - more volunteers
are needed. See the descriptions I posted before the previous
e-conference, or email me about your interest. Most of the activity can
be handled by teleconference, with reports made on items of interest to
Region 3. The most frequent committee meetings are bi-monthly; others are
less frequent.

3. Nominations for William W. Middleton award - Given once every three
years to a senior member (or higher grade) in recognition for a long and
sustained period of exemplary leadership for the Member and Geographic
Activities Board, its activities and achievements, and the attainment of
its goals and objectives. The chosen awardee cannot be a member of the
MGA Board or its Awards & Recognition Committee. For further details on
the nomination form and reference requirements, contact Mary Ellen
Randall or George McClure. The award is presented at Sections Congress.
