TREASURER'S REPORT

Receipts total $173,673, which includes rebates from MGA
and IEEE-USA. The regional assessment transferred to
the Region so far is $34,000. The total for 2008 will
exceed the budget because no assessment funds were
distributed at the end of 2007. The long term investment
account has unrealized losses of $5,570 through April.
The current balance in this account is $181,631.
 
Disbursements total $74,803, with travel expenses
of $41,946 representing a major portion of this total.
A PACE workshop was held in Indianapolis; total PACE
expenses are $7,417. A successful student conference
was held in Huntsville with current expenses of $9,754.
Other expenses are distributed throughout the budget
with no major variances to budget.
