TREASURERâ REPORT

Not much financial activity since previous report. Concentration account
balance, $196k; Conference Reserve account balance $90k; Long term
investment account, $171k, which is about a 9% decrease since the
beginning of the year.

Sections Congress expenses expected to be significantly higher than
forecast; higher air fares and unfavorable exchange rate. Will have a
better idea of total expenses upon receipt of expense reports. A personal
request is for each attendee to submit expense reports in a timely manner
and to cash the checks in a timely manner. At the end of each year, the
Region has to account for uncashed checks. The process is not complicated,
but I prefer a "clean slate" at the beginning of a new year.
