No nominations were received for the 2008 IEEE Region 3 Employer Professional Development Award
by the original nomination deadline of December 1. Therefore, the award nomination deadline was
extended to December 15. Based on some preliminary communications, it appears that we should
receive nominations by the new deadline. The revised call for nominations is given below.

The Educational Activities Committee is currently soliciting nominations for the 2008 IEEE
Region 3 Employer Professional Development Award. The deadline for nominations is December 15,
2008. The purpose of this award is to recognize organizations in Region 3 which employ IEEE
members for outstanding contributions by the organization to employee continuing education and
professional development as evidenced by their quality, comprehensiveness, innovation, or
impact. Please consider nominating a worthy employer in your area. See the following link for
