IEEE R3 ExCom - SPC Report for 2/23/2009 Meeting

The R3 Operations Manual has been reviewed and will require a major revision due to the changes in
the Region 3 Executive Committee restructure and responsibility. The SPC Mentors are requested to
work with the Chairs of the ExCom Standing Committees in revising the committee and respective
subcommittee charters to reflect these changes. New charters will need to be developed for the
recently created Ad Hoc committees. In addition to these changes the references to Regional
Activities Board (RAB) will be deleted and replaced with Member and Geographic Activities Board
(MGAB). We hope that a draft copy of the revised Operations Manual will be available by mid-May.
