Conference Committee Report to R3 EXCOM
 
EXCOM Meeting Monday, December 14, 2009, 9pm.
 
 
SEC 09: The local organizing committee has orally reported a positive cash flow from the
conference. The final report and transfer of funds is pending the final closing of the
books.

SEC 10: The local committee is moving toward a successful conference. Technical papers
have been submitted and are being reviewed for presentation. Web site is up. Hotel will
now take your reservation, so please do register soon. Conference registration should
open soon.

SEC 11: The local committee is a bit behind, but we hope to get them up and running in
the next two months.

SEC 12: The local committee is making final hotel selections and actively working other
conference activities.

SEC 13: The Conference Committee plans to formally recommend this JAX conference to the
full Region 3 Committee at SEC 10 in CLT. Their hotel contract is pending.

SEC 14: The Lexington local committee plans to submit a formal bid for this conference
at the SEC 10 conference.

SEC 15: The local committee in NC is looking at submitting a bid for this conference.

It has been my pleasure to serve with the Conference Committee this past year.
