Latest news on SoutheastCon 2010:

· We hope the registration page will be active by December 15, 2010 – stay tuned!

· The deadline for submitting papers to the technical program has passed (December 1). We had
  169 submissions! If you can volunteer to review papers, please contact Tom Weldon, the
  technical program chair at tpc@southeastcon2010.org

· We are still accepting proposals for 4-hour, 2-hour, and 50-minute tutorial sessions.
  Visit the tutorials announcement page at

  more information. The deadline for tutorial proposals is December 15. We have several
  proposals in hand already with topics including leadership, project management, energy, and
  semiconductor materials.

· Reserve your hotel room now before the hotel is full! We expect the hotel to fill before
  the 2/22/10 deadline, so book your room now by visiting the IEEE SoutheastCon 2010 hotel

· It looks like we will have an IEEE Women in Engineering Affinity Group Professional
  Development Conference co-located with SoutheastCon 2010 on Friday, March 19. More detail
  is forthcoming.

· UNC Charlotte has expressed an interest in sponsoring a reception and tour on campus on
  Thursday evening (6:00 pm to 8:00 pm) to showcase our Energy program. This will include
  providing busses to transport people from the hotel to campus. More detail is forthcoming.
