As Chair of the Region 3 N&A Committee 2010, I want to thank my fellow members
George McClure and Bill Harrison for their expertise, hard work and patience as
we worked our way through the process.

The report is in the form of the presentation that will be presented in the
ExCom meeting on Monday 30 August 2010 but in summary there are several areas
that need to be reviewed to avoid confusion and provide for consistency in the
future.

The following areas of the Region 3 Bylaws, and Operations Manual should be
given special attention as we move forward.
	* The bylaws requirement that the slate presented to the membership have
two or three names.
 		

	* The deadline for forwarding the Delegate Director Elect 2012-2013
candidate list to IEEE Board of Directors
       is 15 March 2011.  

The time line and process that the Region 3 N&A is recommending will meet the
above requirements with time to spare.
