February 26, 2011: staffed an IEEE display at UK for Engineers' Day, 5 member volunteers, 1 guest volunteer. Planned meeting: March 22, 2011 technical meeting, tour of Square D's circuit breaker panel factory, folowed by dinner at Giuseppe's Ristorante. Notable accomplishments: Jack McKinney provided leadership and recruited Lexington Section volunteers and other volunteers for a week-long morning robotics summer camp for 5th-grade students. Jack also submitted a request for a Lexington Section Fund through the IEEE Foundation to expand this program and other K-12 programs promoting engineering. Jack also taught high-school students about mapping and computer-assisted 3-D architectural modeling. Rachel Wilson recruited ITT Technical Students and established a new student branch. Adam Case Ward circulated a petition and started the Lexington Power and Energy Society. Wendell Snyder is circulating a petition to start the Lexington Industrial Applications Society.
