Region 3 Communications Committee


I am Bill Marshall (marshalliv@ieee.org), and I am submitting this report as
the Chair of the Region 3 Communications Committee. Our committee has four
subcommittees (4 principal members):

Eric Ackerman is the R3 Webmaster (e.ackerman@ieee.org)
Bill LaBelle is R3 Newsletter Editor (w.labelle@ieee.org)
Jim Anderson is the R3 Public Information Officer (jim.anderson@ieee.org)
Bill Tiedemann is the Automated Tools Chair (bill_tiedemann@ieee.org)

For three of us, Jim A., Bill T., and myself this is our first year in this
role. We're working together this SoutheastCon weekend to get ourselves
organized and plan for the next year. One of my primary goals for this weekend
is to find out as much as I can about the communication needs and successes
that the individual sections are struggling or succeeding with. The section
chairs can expect a joint email from the five of us to introduce ourselves to
you and refresh the communication network in R3. In the meantime, if you have
any questions or comments, you can contact any of us directly by email. A big
administrative goal for the committee is to revise the portion of the R3
Operations Manual that relates to our activities.
