IEEE R3 Area 7 SC Council Report for April 2013


The council will meet at SEcon 2013 in Jacksonville. The last council meeting
was at SECon 2012.

The Columbia Section has been revived and new leadership is developing
interesting programs.

The Coastal Section 2012 Chair has resigned from IEEE and left a leadership
void. This member was also the SC Council secretary/treasurer and the Council
presently has that position open.

The treasurer checkbook was recovered and in possession of the Council Chair.
The Chair was able to access the Concentration Banking account and retrieve
the records for 2012. IEEE HQ has been contacted for help to assign a username
and password for NetSuite so the yearend report can be filed.

The Council will seek to fill the secreatary/treasurer position at the SECon
2013 meeting. John Montague, Council Vice-chair, will preside at the meeting.
