Region 3 Awards and Recognition Committee (ARC) Report

Because of the success of the pilot program in 2012, nominations, endorsements
and evaluations were handled on-line at the Region 3 Awards and Recognition
Portal. At least one nomination was received for each of the six Region 3
awards. Two excellent nominations were received for the Professional
Leadership Award. Since the ARC could not determine a winner, the ARC
recommended to the Region 3 ExCom that two winners be approved for this award.
The ExCom approved the recommendation. A PowerPoint presentation and an
accompanying script have been developed for the awards banquet.
