IEEE REGION 3 EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES CHAIR REPORT APRIL 2013

PROJECT: IDENTIFY / ENGAGE EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES LEAD FOR EACH SECTION 
Nothing has been accomplished on this project.  The schedule dates have
been adjusted and the chair has a new commitment to get the plan executed.

OTHER PROJECTS
I supported the development of a SoutheastCon session on member engagement
via STEM activities.   Subject matter experts were identified and engaged to
do brief presentations on their selected STEM programs and answer questions.

I engaged with the Educational Activities mentor.

I am supporting the scheduled calls as a member the EAB Section Outreach
Committee.

I worked with National Instruments in a pilot program to roll out free
Labview training and certification through two of our student branches.
