STEM Committee Report for 5 August 2013.

I will be traveling on 5 August 2013. I will not be able to attend the
meeting.

Work on the STEM committee just started. I sent an initial e-mail to the
volunteers, and I requested responses by August 17th. More volunteers are
welcome, so tell anyone who's interested to contact me directly.
