Subject:  Report of Special Review Committee

The objective of the Special Review Committee is to determine administrative 
and management effectiveness of Region 3 Standing Committees. The 
responsibilities of the committee include annual review of one or two of the 
region’s standing committees.  The period of performance for the review is 
the committee's previous six years.



Two major reviews will be undertaken this year:

1.     The Education Activities Committee will be reviewed during 2014. 

2.     The Region 3 Delegate/Director has asked the Special Review Committee 
to conduct a review/study of the role and effectiveness of the Region’s Area 
Chairman Positions. 

We anticipate completing both reviews prior to the next Region 3 ExCom 
meeting.


We will also prepare an update of the schedule of future reviews contained 
in the Periodic Review of Region Standing Committees section of the Region 3 
Operations Manual.
