IEEE Region 3 ExCom

I want to thank the IEEE Region 3 ExCom and Committee for their support in the 
revision of the Region 3 Operations Manual.  One of my projects for the near
future is to implement the revisions that were approved by the ExCom and 
Region Committee in April.

I have worked on the MOVE leadership committee in the capacity of equipment 
design and support.  Our latest need is for automatic equipment to complete
the required drivers logs in the truck.  This new equipment is supposed to
be operational by the end of the year.

On another subject, I have announced that I will retire from full-time
employment at UAB as of June 1 2017.  Hopefully this change will make a little
more time available for my IEEE duties.
