IEEE-USA Board activities.

I (will attend) attended the IEEE-USA Board meeting on April 16, 2018.
The main items on the agenda of the meeting are the approval of a position
statement and the report of the IEEE-USA Treasurer.

IEEE Audit Committee

I attended the IEEE Audit Committee meeting on April 11, 2018.
The purpose of this meeting was to receive the audit report from the
external auditors of the IEEE.

SoutheastCon 2018

We are looking forward to SoutheastCon 2018, which is later this week.
Many volunteers have contributed hundreds of hours of work in order to
make this event a success.  Now we are in the home stretch.  I look
forward to seeing all of you in St Petersburg.

SoutheastCon 2018 Region Committee Program, Section Chairs or Delegates

You should have received the template (Power Point) that I sent for 
you to use in your presentations.  If you did not get one, it is
available from the Region 3 Secretary.  Your presentations will be on
Sunday morning as part of our Region 3 Committee business meeting.

SoutheastCon 2018 Region Committee Program, Region Executive Committee Chairs

You should have received the template (Power Point) that I sent for your
presentations.  You may add slides as needed; however, please stay within
your alloted times.  A detailed schedule of the Region Committee Program
is included in the discussion items for this meeting.
Please supply your slides to Secretary Battaglio before you travel to SoutheastCon.
Remember that your report should include at least the following items.

(1) The members of the committee (individuals and job functions).
(2) The responsibilities that are assigned to the committee as prescribed in the 
    Region 3 Operations Manual, section V.
(3) The activities that the committee will pursue in 2018.
(4) The goals that the committee wants to accomplish in 2018.

These presentations (and a few others) will be on Friday afternoon and
Saturday morning.
