Dr. Giger is the A.N. Pritzker Professor of Radiology/Medical Physics and the College at the University of Chicago. She is also Vice-Chair of Radiology for Basic Science Research. For over 25 years, she has conducted research on computer-aided diagnosis and quantitative radiomics in the areas of breast cancer, lung cancer, prostate cancer, and bone diseases. She has served on various NIH study sections, is former president of the American Association of Physicists in Medicine, and member of the National Academy of Engineering. She is a Fellow of AAPM, AIMBE, SPIE, and IEEE. |
Pengjun Wan, Illinois Institute of Technology

Dr. Wan is a Professor of Computer Science and Engineering at the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago. His research interests include wireless networking, and algorithm design and analysis. He received the B.S. degree in applied mathematics from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, in 1990, the M.S. degree in applied mathematics from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China, in 1993, and the Ph.D. degree in computer and information science from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, in 1997. He has served as the technical program chairs of IEEE INFOCOM 2016 and ACM MOBIHOC 2008. |

Dr. Kim is an associate professor at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. His interdisciplinary research incorporates device, circuit, architecture, and software for power-efficient computing. He was a recipient of the Villas Associates Award from the University in 2015. He earned his PhD degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and Master and Bachelor degrees in Electrical Engineering from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology. |
Danilo Erricolo, University of Illinois at Chicago
For contributions to electromagnetic scattering and associated computational algorithms

Dr. Erricolo is a Professor of Electrical Engineering at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC), the Director of the Andrew Electromagnetics Laboratory, an Adjunct Professor of Bioengineering, and has co-authored more than 220 publications in international peer reviewed scientific journals and conferences. He is among the pioneers of Radio Frequency Tomography. In 2012, he chaired the most successful international symposium of the Antennas and Propagation society. He was an AdCom Member, chairs the Chicago Chapter of AP-S and MTT-S, and chairs the AP-S Distinguished Lecturer Program. |
Sudip Mazumder, University of Illinois at Chicago

Dr. Mazumder received his Ph.D. degree from Virginia Tech in 2001. He is a Professor at the University of Illinois, Chicago and is the President of NextWatt LLC. He is the recent recipient of University of Illinois, ChicagoÕs Inventor of the Year Award (2014) and University of IllinoisÕ University Scholar Award (2013). In 2015 he was invited to serve as a Distinguished Lecturer for IEEE PELS beginning in 2016. He served as the Guest Editor- in-Chief/Editor for IEEE PELS/IES Transactions between 2013-2016, and as the first Editor-in-Chief for Advances in Power Electronics (2006-2009). Currently, he serves as the Chair for IEEE PELS TC on Sustainable Energy Systems and also as an AdCom Member for IEEE PELS. |
