Student Paper Contest

What is the Student Paper Contest?
* Students write a paper describing some technical work that they have done.
They also do an oral presentation on the topic.
The written and oral work are judged together.
Competition takes place in NEA every spring approximately in April in conjunction with the Spring NEA meeting.
What are benefits?
* Professional engineers spend a considerable amount of their time writing reports on thier work and giving oral presentations on it. This gives students a chance to practive their skills in this area.
