At the May 2002 meeting in Winnipeg, the Board established the strategic planning committee with three strategic goals identified. At the October meeting in Washington, the board received a plan to achieve these goals.

• 1 - Strengthen the value and service to members - details

• 2 - Strengthen and create a technical chapter co-ordination function within IEEE Canada - details

• 3 - Add value to members by strengthening the interactions with the Engineering Institute of Canada (EIC), and the IEEE Canadian Foundation (ICF) - details
