Here is the notice for the event, 'Embedded and Real-Time System Technology Seminar'.
Hello, there's a great upcoming day-long event dealing with embedded and real-time system technology, including technical presentations, a luncheon, and corporate exhibits! Of course, it's an excellent chance to get to know more people in the engineering community and take home new technology ideas!
Dr.Richard Vallee, of Amirix, a leading design house for the embedded system industry, will be delivering a presentation on field-programmable gate arrays (FPGAs), reviewing FPGA trends, and in particular, the features of the powerful and popular Xilinx Virtex II Pro. For those who attended the recent ASIC presentation, the FPGA is an alternate to the full-custom approach, allowing users to rapidly implement a chip design via a proven platform! The AMIRIX AP100 PCI Platform FPGA Development Board along with sample Platform FPGA designs completed using the board will be discussed. Demonstrations of Platform FPGA solutions using TimeSys Real Time Linux on the AP100 board will also be presented.
'AMIRIX provides custom electronic design services for the embedded industry to help companies develop new products and enhance existing ones. We manage projects that involve architectural system design and analysis, as well as detailed design and implementation in the form of FPGA design, high performance circuit board design, and embedded software design. We have delivered hundreds of design solutions to customers in telecommunications, defense and aerospace, medical devices and imaging, industrial controls, and gaming applications.'
I'm looking forward to Dr.Vallee's presentation as well as the rest of the workshop and hope to see you all there!
Sincerely,
Marc Murphy
