IEEE Vancouver Section Process Improvement Team Members Needed May 23, 2007 The IEEE Vancouver Section is a volunteer organisation that serves local IEEE members. We as Section Executives have the mandate of supporting our members, facilitating local technical and networking events, promoting the benefits of IEEE membership, and facilitating the growth and public awareness of electrical and electronics engineering in the local community. The Executive consists of over twenty electrical, computer, and electronics engineers, from students to senior engineers with decades of experience, from local industry and post-secondary institutions. We are always interested in having self-motivated, enthusiastic, and collaborative individuals join us in expanding our capabilities and making our Section among the best in the IEEE. We are looking for volunteers to help improve our Section's internal processes and overall effectiveness of the services we offer to IEEE members. This role is an excellent fit for those looking to gain experience improving organisational structures and learning about the most recent industry process design methodologies.
