Kingston Section Talk
3D ULTRASOUND GUIDED PROSTATE INTERVENTION
Queen’s University, WLH 210, February 5, 2009,  2:30 - 3:30 pm

   Dr. Aaron Fenster will be speaking to us about his research in the field of ultrasound guided prostate intervention.
In this talk, he will describe a new method to guide prostate biopsy procedures using 3D ultrasound. This new approach allows us to guide the biopsy to specific 3D targets in the prostate, record the biopsy locations in 3D, and register the intra-biopsy procedural 3D ultrasound image with an MR image to guide the biopsy to specific locations in the prostate.
