Congratulations to our Life Members Affinity Group, under the leadership of V.I. John!! The Kingston Section group was singled out by IEEE as one of their Outstanding Life Member Groups worldwide. Read the letter from IEEE here

Annual Summer Banquet
In addition to the excellent meal, provided by the Donald Gordon Center, marking the 125th Anniversary of IEEE, VI John, and the Life Member Affinity Group gave a presentation on the roots of the IEEE Kingston Section. Of particular interest were the photos of past and present members of the section.

BBQ/Meet and Greet
Something new this year, the Kingston Section is combining the Summer BBQ idea, with the fall Student Meet and Greet. In past, these two activities have met with considerable success, but it is hoped that this year’s combined event will allow all members, new and old, to socialize in a manner never before attempted. The date has yet to fixed, but early September, mark your calendars! Come and meet the future members of the Kingston IEEE Section.
