BRANCH HISTORY
THE IEEE STUDENT BRANCH OF IIIT-B was started in the year 1999, few months after the setup of our institute. It initially had 15 student members. We currently have more than 30 members out of total student community of 200 people. Over the past few years we had many events - seminars, symposiums, conferences, workshops in the state of the art technologies by experts both from industry and academia.
The Director and Vice-chancellor of our University, Prof.S.Sadagopan is our branch mentor and Dr.Debabrata Das ,Professor, is our branch counselor. Our branch is one of the top 3 branches in the bangalore section.
