The People's Education Society [P.E.S] College Of Engineering ,was started in 1962 in the agrarian and prosperous sugar growing district of Mandya in Karnataka.Started by Late.Sri.K.V.Shankara Gowda ,the college has gained a very good reputation by some outstanding achievements of the faculty and the students.
The college has perhaps the best campus as compared to any other technological institutions located anywhere in the country.
The college is affiliated to the Visveswaraiah Technological University (V.T.U) ,Belgaum ,recognized by All India Council for Technical Education(AICTE),New Delhi and accredited by National Board of Accredition(NBA).
The college has been able to achieve the objective of imparting technical education to the students of rural areas of Karnataka and all over India.
