BUET Students participated in the IEEExtreme 2008 programming contest. Md Wasi Uddin and Md. Tanjil Shivan from the Sparkans team, and Sajid Muhaimin Choudhury, Md. Ahsanur Rashid and Ashik Zinnat Khan from Short Circuit team participated in the contest. Mr. Imtiaz Ahmed, a lecturer of the Department of EEE and the Gold Chair of IEEE Gold Affinity Group, Bangladesh was the Proctor of both the teams.
