The IEEE, Inc., USA operates through student branches spread all across the globe with its headquarters in New Jersey, USA. This professional body continues to provide the latest information and best technical resources to innovators world wide. It is the world's largest technical professional society connecting more than 3,40,000 members across 150 countries.
IEEE Student Chapter,BIT Patna was formed on 23 November 2009 with active cooperation from students and the effective guidance of the faculty advisors.The Chapter provides a local forum for its members to meet and exchange views on technical, educational and professional interest. It encourages students involvement in professional activities. On a higher level, the chapter offers a medium for the student's to establish communication with representatives of government, national and international organizations. The chapter has recieved a tremendous response from student's with its membership being the highest in the State.
