The IEEE student branch of Rajagiri School of Engineering & Technology, Kakkanad, Kochi is conducting a robotics workshop, RoboTRIx on the 23rd and 24th of March, 2007. The Robotics Institute (TRI), a firm started by IIT Bombay graduates, is conducting this workshop. It is meant for "newbies and robotics enthusiasts", and especially for those who have no prior experience in the field. It teaches you the fundamentals of robotics with detailed hands-on sessions.

You can form teams of four. Each team will be provided with one robotics kit, which students can use to fabricate various other designs and study material. In short, it forms a multipurpose kit.

Price details:

Rs. 3000/- is mandatory for each team. It covers the cost of the kit.

Rs. 750/- per participant for a four-member team. This covers food and accommodation for two days.

IEEE members will be given discount on the participant fees.

Teams registering for the workshop before March 5th will get their
participant fees reduced to Rs. 695/- per participant.
