IEEE Students' Technology Symposium is an annual event conceptualized by IEEE Kharagpur Section and Student Branch at IIT Kharagpur. IEEE TechSym 2010 is the inaugural event, being held at the lush green and youthful campus of IIT Kharagpur. Conceptualized at an event for nurturing the talent of students and young professionals, it is more than a technical festival or a student paper contest. The inaugural event hosts of professionally managed events consisting of oral and poster sessions for original contributions from students and young professionals, with subsequent publications through IEEE Xplore digital library. It also has events like scientific model making contest and technology quiz aimed at nurturing talents at school going children, and exposing the fun of engineering to them. The bouquet also includes exciting opportunities by some of the technological giants.
