2016 IEEE Students' Technology Symposium (IEEE TechSym 2016), 30 September - 2 October, 2016, IIT Kharagpur, India

Call for Papers

The organizing committee of the IEEE Students' Technology Symposium 2016 invites scholastic contributions in the form of articles for oral/poster presentations. Submissions within scope of the symposium are invited as full papers for presentations at the following tracks:

  • RF System, Communication and Computer Networks

  • Imaging and Multidimensional Signal Processing

  • MEMS, Electron Devices and Sensors

  • Pattern Analysis and Machine Intelligence

  • Power and Control Systems

  • VLSI Design and Automation

  • Translational Engineering in Health and Medicine

  • Human-Computer Interaction

Manuscript preparation and submission

Manuscripts are to be prepared according to IEEE two-column conference format in letter-paper. The language of the manuscript should be English. All final manuscript should have a page length up to 6 pages including figures, tables and references. All submissions should be formatted according to manuscript preparation guidelines mentioned in the Author Instructions Page. Submissions are handled electronically via the conference management portal.

List of Awards Areas & Nomination Policy

The theme for IEEE TechSym 2016 is "Transforming Lives through the Power of Technology". In this regard, apart from the Best Paper Award in each track, the following theme categories are available: Advancing Technology For Humanity Award, Engineering in Medicine and Biology Award, Industry Ready Technology Award, Internet-of-Things (IoT) Award, Women in Engineering Award. Authors are encouraged to nominate their submission for maximum of 2 award categories at the time of initial submission, unchangeable after submission deadlines expire. Editorial policy

Reviewing criteria for the symposium is double-blind. In submitting a manuscript to IEEE TechSym 2016, authors acknowledge that no paper substantially similar in content has been or will be submitted to another symposium, conference or workshop during the review period (10 May 2016 - 31 July 2016).
