Ryan Robeson, a Senior Electrical Engineering Major is currently the Secretary of the University of Scranton's Branch of IEEE. Ryan specializes in the construction and analysis of analog and digital circuits and is currently working on an Elder Care project in which he and a team of students build a bed sheet that monitors elderly citizens movements, weight, and temperature during the night in order to help find when that person is beginning to change sleeping habits and hopefully be able to predict an upcoming illness or decline in health. In the fall of 2011, Ryan, along with the other Engineering Majors, organized and ran The Electric City Volleyball Marathon, raising $1650 for Saint Joseph's Center, a hospital for mentally and physically handicapped children here in Scranton. In his free time, Ryan enjoys participating in intramural sports, photography club and being an assistant Track and Field Coach at his high school Alma Mater, Scranton Preparatory School. Ryan gets involved in as many ways as he can at the University and thoroughly enjoys the daily challenges of Electrical Engineering. |
