Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Training dated on February 07th 2017

TThe IEEE student branch of Jeppiaar Institute of Technology has arranged a training program on February 7 & February 8, 2017 in saveetha medical college on the topic of “Cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR)� for a total of 350 students to learn about Basic life support. The section starts with the introduction about CPR (cardio pulmonary Resuscitation) by Dr. Archana, Head of the department, Saveetha medical College. Next section will be taken by Dr. Sangeetha, faculty Coordinator, Saveetha medical college with presentation of 40 minutes. It includes totally 9 steps that we follow for CPR treatment. She explained that how to save victims life and provides basic life support during critical conditions. They clearly explained the procedure step by step with demonstration by using specimen, and they select some students randomly to make them practise.

By the end of presentation class, they have conducted ice braking section by asking questions to students .Then students are split into several teams, and trainers will take over the section with Hands-on Practices. Trainers guide them how to do Heart pumping, pulse checking, air breathing etc., each and every students do practice with their Specimen along CPR kit. The section was very interesting, interactive & useful for all students and it will be helpful for them to save human life during Emergency Conditions.
