IEEE Day Celebration – 2K16 dated on September 28th 2016

IEEE DAY CELEBRATION The IEEE SB of Jeppiaar Institute of Technology has celebrated IEEE DAY – 2016 with the theme “Leveraging Technologies for Better Tomorrow� on 28-09-2016. The Session was started by welcoming our beloved director sir Dr.N.Marie Wilson, the chief guest Mr. Aravindhan Anbazhagan Regional Student Ambassador of IEEE Madras Section and all the IEEE members of the JIT SB. Then the session was continued by the inspirational speech of the chief guest and followed by the motivational speech of our director Dr.N.Marie Wilson. The dignitaries launched the magazine of JIT IEEE SB which was completely created and designed by the IEEE students. The ceremony took its step forward by launching the promo video of IEEE JIT SB. Mr.Aravindhan then shared his IEEE experience and explained the benefits, scholarships and opportunities provided by IEEE. The rest of the day passed on by conducting three parallel events (Mind storming Event, Tech connections, and Program Debugging) by the Volunteers of WIE, RAS,CS societies. The events went very interesting by the active participation of the newly registered first year students .All the students who won were rewarded with certificates and IEEE goodies. On the whole the celebration was very motivating and inspiring for the newly joined IEEE members and the event was a great success.
