IEEE EMBS Student chapter at VIT University is an affiliate to IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society, the world's largest society of Biomedical Engineers.

VIT Chapter aspires to ameliorate the status of Biomedical Engineering, make the Biomedical Engineering students, cognizant of the scopes of this multidisciplinary field and effectuate a sense of professionalism in them. If any student wants to apply his/her electronics, electrical, computer or design skills in Medical field and improve healthcare technology then EMBS is the right place.

EMBS will also be organizing fun-filled, intriguing, and challenging online and offline contests, workshops and other events.
