As technology advances, it
is fast emerging as one of the key element contributing
to the growth of a nation. The importance of technology
is becoming even more critical in the globalised
era and in facing the challenges of an economy
which is augmented by knowledge. Malaysia realizes
this fact and is always seeking opportunity to
expose Malaysian students especially, to the real
meaning of competition in the fields of sciences
and technology from an early stage. Realizing
this, Faculty of Electrical Engineering (FKE)
Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) in cooperation
with The Institute of Electrical and Electronics
Engineers (IEEE) UTM Student Branch #18561, Student
Society of Electrical Engineering (JURUTEK) UTM
and Rakan Muda (Rakan Rekacipta) has taken the
initiative to organize a programme called Malaysia
International Invention Expo (MIINEX) 2004. MIINEX
is a combination of both electrical and electronics
invention competition and exhibition which will
be participated by undergraduates and postgraduates
from universities all around Asia Pacific region. |
